Boston Lumber provides reclaimed and salvaged lumber products and services, including buying, selling, processing, grading, custom milling, kiln drying, and transportation of reclaimed wood materials. Our services are available to individuals, contractors, businesses, and organizations.

3. Product Information

We make every effort to accurately describe our products and services on our website. However, reclaimed lumber is a natural material sourced from deconstructed structures, and variations in color, grain pattern, texture, and dimensions are inherent characteristics, not defects. We do not guarantee that product descriptions, photographs, or other content on our website are error-free, complete, or current.

All lumber is graded according to our internal standards, which may differ from NHLA or other grading systems. Grading descriptions are provided as guidelines. If specific grading standards are required, please communicate them in writing before placing an order.

4. Quotes and Pricing

All quotes provided through our website, email, or in person are estimates and are subject to change based on material availability, species, grade, quantity, and current market conditions. Quotes are valid for 14 days unless otherwise stated in writing. Final pricing is confirmed at the time of order and is subject to material inspection and verification.

5. Orders and Payment

Orders are confirmed upon receipt of a signed order agreement and any required deposit. Payment terms vary by order size and customer relationship. Standard terms require a 50% deposit at order confirmation and the remaining balance due upon delivery or pickup.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including orders that appear to contain inaccurate information or that we believe were placed fraudulently.

6. Delivery and Transportation

Delivery dates are estimates and not guaranteed. Boston Lumber is not liable for delays caused by weather, mechanical issues, traffic, road conditions, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the delivery site is accessible and that adequate personnel and equipment are available for unloading. Risk of loss passes to the customer upon delivery to the specified location.

7. Returns and Claims

Due to the custom nature of reclaimed lumber orders, all sales are final unless otherwise agreed in writing. Claims for damaged, defective, or incorrect material must be made in writing within 48 hours of delivery or pickup. Material must not be installed or altered before a claim is resolved. We will inspect any claimed material and, at our sole discretion, offer replacement, credit, or refund for material that does not meet the agreed specifications.

8. Website Use

You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to use the site to transmit harmful code, engage in unauthorized data collection, attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, or interfere with the proper functioning of the website. All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and design elements, is the property of Boston Lumber and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
